Join us for the
10th Annual PetFest
and Walk for Animals Sunday, May 19th
from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. at Buttonwood Park in New Bedford.
This year's
walk goes to support Local Animal Disaster Services. Help us be
prepared!
There will be lots of demonstrations, music, food,
rescue groups, vendors, contests and of course, the 2-mile dog walk.
Once again, radio personality, Captain Jack Peterson, will MC the
event and live
music will be provided by
Dave Antunes. Miss Massachusetts will be on hand to help MC the
doggie fashion show sponsored by Pooch Parlor Pet Salon and
Starbarks Pet Clothing! Marla Isaacs will be there with her phenomenal
New England Reptile Birds of Prey show. Our local boys in blue, the New Bedford Police
K-9 Unit, will be demonstrating the skills of their dynamic canines.
Let's not forget the Boston Animal Rescue League with their tree
climbers and the M.S.P.C.A. Last but not least, the world's tallest
outdoor portable rock climbing tower (weather permitting), graciously supplied by
Carabiner's Indoor Climbing Gym here in New Bedford.
It's a great
time - be sure not to miss it!
