Foster Homes Needed for Homeless Pets!

Animal Advocates and Habitat for Cats are urgently in need of foster homes. Fostering entails the temporary care of a pet until a permanent home can be found. It provides important socialization for the pet, being much less stressful than being kept in a cage at a shelter full of other animals. It also helps get a better idea of the pet's temperament and behavior for better placement in a  permanent home. Support of food, medical needs and other foster volunteers area available throughout the care of the pet. To learn more, please contact

Donate your Cell Phone/Ink Cartridges

The Coalition is running a campaign to recycle cell phones and ink cartridges to help animals. If you have old cell phones sitting in your house, drop them by the Down to Earth Natural Foods for People and Pets at 751 Kempton Street, New Bedford and we'll do the rest! Every phone that you donate will result in cash for the Coalition...better yet, every dollar raised goes directly to the animals!
