What is a Coalition?

A coalition is a group of independent people, organizations, and/or businesses that work together to accomplish common goals.  Coalitions work to affect change on local, state, and national stages.  Working together, the participants can amplify their impact and take on larger issues than they may have been able to tackle on their own. They frequently focus on influencing legislation and regulations, educating their audience, and developing programs that share their message and achieve their goals.

About Us

Our Mission

Officers

Since 1999, the Coalition for Animals of Greater New Bedford is an all volunteer non-profit charitable organization of individuals and local animal groups dedicated to helping animals.
Our mission is to create awareness in the community for the humane treatment of all animals; to help end the problem of companion animal overpopulation through spay/neuter; to promote the adoption of homeless companion animals; and to provide people with the educational information they need to help keep their companion animals safe and healthy.
