We are very disappointed to announce that for the first time in 20 years, Pet Fest will not be held. Due to the state COVID-19 restrictions and the risks related to large gatherings, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this year's event.
Please contact us at [email protected] with questions or concerns. We will reach out to vendors directly with options for refunds. Thank you for support and stay safe and healthy!
We would like to give a big thank you to the following sponsors who have decided to honor their donations to us, despite the event being canceled:

We need your help to raise funds to help injured, sick, homeless, abandoned, and neglected animals in our community! This is a fun-filled day for people and their animals to come and join us for a 2-mile fundraising walk around beautiful Buttonwood Park, as well as enjoy lots of entertainment. Animal lovers without dogs are also welcome!
Attendance to check out the vendors and entertainment in the center ring is FREE (but be sure to bring some cash for food and wares!).
There is a $15 registration fee for each person participating in the fundraising walk, but please help us raise as much as you can by asking friends, family, coworkers and neighbors to sponsor you for the Walk for Animals. Maximize your fundraising impact by creating an online profile that can be shared to help you raise money. It's easy and free! 100% of the funds raised are used to support our variety of programs that benefit local animals and our community with a special focus on our Low Cost Spay and Neuter initiatives. Walker registration and check-in will be between 11:00 and 12:00pm and the Walk will begin at 12:00 pm with a Blessing of the Animals.
This year's event will honor and commemorate long-time supporter and pillar of the New Bedford community, Dave Antunes.
